The idea of this puzzle is as follows: there are five buildings in five rows and columns, forming a grid of 5x5. The buildings have 1 to 5 stories, 5 being obviously the tallest building. The numbers around the grid represent the number of buildings or rooftops that a person looking at the row or column from that point would see. He cannot see a building that is behind a taller building. For example, if the buildings were in the order 3,4,2,1,5 he would see three buildings (buildings with 3, 4 & 5 stories). There is always only one building of each height in every row and column. The idea of the puzzle is to place the buildings into the grid to correspond correctly with the number of buildings that the observer sees from around the grid. Ready?
